These women on their decadeKeira Knightly had a few styles and fashion trends that she thought should have not been present during the last decade. She thought that skinny jeans and micro-minis are unfriendly to the female body. She admitted to wearing these apparel items, but believed that they were created to make women think badly about themselves.
Rooney Mara was awed by a 70s celebrity – Ali MacGraw. She was drawn to her regal yet natural demeanor. She accepts the fact that she is effortless in exuding her queenly appeal. Actually, Mara patterned her The Social Network character after MacGraw.
Scarlett Johansson also had some bad things to say when it comes to the 90s. Turtlenecks as a trend then were horrible. Of course, she tried turtleneck a number of times; and each time, she proved that men don’t like this attire on women. Yet, Johansson announced the 90’s to be one of the most fascinating times for women not only in the US, but all around the world.
When it comes to Mia Wasikowska and her W Magazine cover featuring her decade, everybody thought that she fits the bill of women belonging to the 80s decade. For her, the most fascinating personality during this decade was Madonna, who deserved to be everyone’s icon. Wasikowska thought that she was the ultimate rock star, while being her whole self at all times.
