The holidays are literally right around the corner and what better time to showcase a new, elegant natural hair style without adding unnecessary stress and tension to your own hair. These four fun and glamorous natural hairstyles are sure to turn heads this year, in addition to keeping your hair protected from the cold air which can also lead to breakage and other types of damage.

1. Wear it Straight with No Heat

Don't start pulling out the flat iron just yet. You don't need heat in your hair to get gorgeous, straight and long natural locks. You can cornrow your own hair and add a few packs of straight or coarse Yaki sew-in hair extensions to your hair for a new holiday look. If you don't have the skills to sew in your own hair, you could use the hair to do a crochet style instead.

2. Adorn Your Crown with Goddess Braids

I love the allure and beauty of the goddess braid. Goddess braids are one of those styles that can be worn daily with jeans and a t-shirt or dressed up for an elegant or special event. It is an easy style to achieve and can be done using your own hair or using extensions that are similar to your own hair texture such as the kinky straight weave by Xotica Hair.

There is a lot of versatility to styling goddess braids. Some women wear one single goddess braid wrapped around their crown into a halo braid. Some wear it with several braids pulled into a chignon, up in a top knot, or hanging loosely down the back. Whatever way you decide to wear your Goddess braids, it's one of those hair styles that is sure to spark a conversation and have everyone admiring your chic, fashionable hair style.

3. Faux Curly Bangs & High Bun

This is a super cute style that you can achieve at any hair length. If your hair is shorter than bra-strap length, you can use natural hair extensions to achieve this style. It's sleek, simple and easy to achieve even if you're a beginner at styling your own hair. No one will notice if the hair is yours or not, and it's the perfect style for women who don't necessarily like wearing weaves but want to try something a little different with their hair.

4. Curls, Curls, and More Curls
