USA Today, and media outlets everywhere are asking: “Can a tie result in a Romney-Biden White House?”
Basically this could “possibly” happen because if there was an electoral college tie, and the Republicans maintain control of the House, they get to choose the President, while if the Democrats maintain control of the Senate, they get to choose the Vice-President.
Now Here Are 3 Worse Potential Ties…
1. The Washington Capitals tied with The Washington Nationals. Baseball season is over and the NHL is locked out – “How did this game get scheduled”, sports fans would ask! This could create even more gridlock in D.C. as baseball stars refuse to skate in circles, risking career ending injuries.
2. A tie that results in runner-ups Barack Obama and Paul Ryan running a White House/Black Market women’s apparel store. There are no locations in D.C. according to their web site! This also creates more potential grid lock in the Washington area as Paul Ryan tries to convince female shoppers that the Virginia McDonald’s Drive Thru that the duo gets stuck working at does sell clothing. Come on Paul, you’ve worked at McDonald’s before – you know what the product really is!
3. This Donald Trump “Congressional Stripe Tie” available at Macy’s tied with this Donald Trump “Senate Stripe” tie also available at Macy’s. In case you’re wondering, there are even more potential campaign-named Trump ties at Macy’s, making a winner so hard to choose. And as we’ve pointed out on this site before, they’re “imported” (aka “Not Made In America like whatever rhetoric comes out of Donald Trump’s mouth.”)
