Don`t record just anything! Make sure you give the best of yourself in writing lyrics. No one is going to listen some random lyrics. Write down every idea you get, and then when you get some time, sit down and develop those ideas!
#3 Make your own instrumental or buy one
Don`t just download instrumental from youtube and record own song on it! DO NOT! Why? Because a lot of others will use it too, and you will loose a credibility. You can find some very cheap amazin instrumentals online. Buy it! Support beatmakers because it`s very difficult to create good instrumental. if you dont`t want to buy one, then make it! You can use some amazing beat making software like Fl Studio or Reason. Be original as much as you can! Try not to copy someone others style or lyrics! Be yourself, bring yourself into your song!
