Zero Dark Thirty is the art work of Oscar winning director Kathryn Bigelow. The movie revolves around the killing of one of most wanted man in Human history i.e. Osama Bin Laden. Whole operation that led to killing of Bin Laden is engulfed in secrecy and there is little people know about this. Osama Bin Laden was killed in Pakistani Garrison City Abbottabad as a result of operation by NAVY SEALS Team 6. The operation stunned the world. His hiding place was beyond imagination of everyone in Pakistan.
Zero Dark Thirty is widely anticipated to know exactly what happened on the night of 1st May, 2012. First teaser trailer gave very little details about the event so could not get much attention. Now, the second trailer is released giving more details about the decade long efforts of manhunt. He was believed dead during most part of the decade which CIA spent searching for Bin laden.
Zero Dark Thirty trailer promises that even minute details of the operation will not be looked over. Story of the film is based on intelligence reports and other classified information. Screen writer Mark Boal gained unprecedented access to CIA documents to ensure its closeness to the facts.
Zero Dark Thirty has CIA backing?
Zero Dark Thirty was already in pre-production stage when Bin Laden was killed. After change of facts its script went through massive changes. CIA considered ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ to be a ‘winning horse’ and allowed access to classified information to writer as well as director of the movie. Special briefings were also arranged for production team.
Zero Dark Thirty was scheduled to be release in October this year but was forced a reschedule due to presidential elections. Decision was taken to avoid allegations of political partiality in favor of President Obama. Revised released date is set as 19th December 2012.
