23 Weeks: Update and Expectations

By Thepracticalmommy2 @PracticalMommy2

If you've been following along, you'll know that I'm pregnant and expecting a baby boy. He'll be my #3, and perhaps my last baby (still undecided about that...).
Right now, I'm 23 weeks and 3 days along. I already have a pretty round belly and I'm starting the oh-so-attractive pregnant waddle, mostly due to the cramps I get in my hips. Fun, right?
I'm excited that I'm halfway there to the due date. This has been the longest pregnancy by far, probably since I have two other crazy kids and I was sick for 14 weeks.
I'm starting to wonder when the baby is actually going to make his appearance. My firstborn was born two weeks before his due date, weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs. and some ounces. My second born was born three weeks before her scheduled due date, weighing in at a healthy 7 lbs. and some ounces. How will it go for the third?
As of now, the scheduled c-section is in the end of March, the day before my 30th birthday, which I'm thrilled about. If he comes early, however, he could come as soon as March 17th, in true Irish style as my husband's very Irish family would love.
They say that if one baby comes early, they all come a bit early, but I'm not so sure. This time, though, I'm going to be ready: bags packed, nursery set up, going home outfit picked out, babysitters lined up, etc.
I guess we'll wait and see.
