Awaken your senses with the cool fresh air brushing your heated skin as you ascend the uphill of Barangay Cantao-an, hear the birds chirp giving you their morning greetings, smell the crisp fresh air as they fill your lungs, watch the sky transform from dark blues to violets to a mix of reds, orange and yellows and witness the first light of the day to appear, as you begin to taste the saltiness of your sweat while you conquer the grueling climb of the route that has been paved all the way until you turn around to the finish line. Traffic has been closed once you enter the barangay road for everyone to enjoy this picturesque route to the top. I didn't say it was easy, but I promise that it will be worth it!
