2015 Watched List Part 14

By Newguy

Over the past year I have seen an incredible amount of films and I have decided to share with you all which ones I have seen in what order. I am going to be doing these in groups of ten, where I will pick my favorite of the bunch and the worst of the bunch.

So without further ramblings here we go with 141 – 150:

1. The Great Gatsby

This all star cast including DiCaprio, Edgerton, Mulligan and Maguire in the story of one man’s quest to win the woman of his dreams heart when he can easily trick everyone else into believing his own lifestyle. While this film looks fantastic it would be fair to say the plot leaves a lot to the imagination.

2. Exists

The found footage genre has almost been done to death but this one follows a group of friends that end up hitting a creature while driving to a cabin for weekend of fun, what follows is the creature coming after them for revenge and this time it is Bigfoot. This high definition found footage film has good scares that will keep you on edge throughout.

3. Last Knight

logo
Clive Owen and Morgan Freeman star in the action thriller set in medieval times where an elite group of Knights plan their revenge after being betrayed. This has such a slow start you lose interest by the end sequence.

4. All the Boys Love Mandy Lane

logo
When a group of high school friends go to a family farm for a weekend of drinks, drugs and sex a moment from their past will haunt them as they start getting picked off. This film does have a killer twist that makes it stand out from the average slasher film.

5. Event Horizon

logo
A rescue crew travels across space to investigate what happened on the Event Horizon which disappeared years ago but now has returned but the horror has only just began. One of the best sci-fi horror movies ever made with such brutal gore that much of the film got edit to avoid everything.

6. Sorority Row

logo
A high school Sorority plays a prank which goes horribly wrong leading to a death of one of their own, on year later somebody has come for revenge picking off the girls responsible one by one. Basic slasher that does keep you guessing until the very end.

7. The Signal

logo
Three friends look to meet a brilliant computer hacker but what they find will leave them shocked as they wake up one day in a living nightmare. A brilliant little sci-fi gem that will leave you shocked with every turn it takes.

8. Brain Dead

logo
This Peter Jackson blood bath of a horror film is a true cult classic that is wildly funny and bloody from start to finish. This was the first time I saw this and my God what a bloody gory film.

9. Mission Impossible

logo
This installment of the classic television show moving to the big screen. Tom Cruise takes the lead role in an action thriller that is non-stop. While I do think the franchise has gone onto bigger and better things this was a good starting point.

10. The Machine

We all saw Transcendence and most people hated it, well this is a smarter version of what that could have been by unloading human intelligence onto a computer before it slowly starts to take over.

The Best – Event Horizon

The Worst – Last Knight
