By Eatsleepgolf @eatsleepgolf
I'm sure that most people visiting a website called 'Eat Sleep Golf' are aware that the 112th U.S. Open kicked off this week, from The Olympic Club in San Francisco California.  The Olympic Club is the oldest athletics club in the USA  and is the perfect venue for such a prestigious event.  At 7170 yards, playing as a par 70, it's a challenging course which will test the skill set of even the most elite golfers.  Here's a quick preview...

With the U.S. Open changing venues every year, this will mark the fifth time that the Olympic Club has hosted the tournament, which is a clear tribute to it's greatness.
Out of curiosity I took a look at the upcoming venues for the U.S. Open, which have already been determined up to 2016.  Here's how it looks:
2013:  Merion Golf Club, East Course - Ardmore, Pennsylvania
2014: Pinehurst Resort, Course # 2 - Pinehurst, North Carolina
2015: Chambers Bay - University Place, Washington
2016: Oakmont Country Club - Oakmont, Pennsylvania
I hope you have a great weekend watching this years U.S. Open at the majestic Olympic Club.
