£10 Beauty Budget Challenge Update

By Brokebutbeautiful @never2broke4bea
An update on how I've been spending my £10!
After a brief and unplanned hiatus I'm back with an update on my £10 beauty budget challenge  Basically,as I am trying to save a few pennies I have set myself a £10 budget for  the month for all beauty products. For me  this is an ongoing budget but I am hoping a few bloggers will take up the challenge, just for a month to see how they get on! The first brave blogger to do this Pixie Dust and Fairy Tales, so head over to her blog to check out her progress.
I have to admit I'm pretty pleased with my progress, as I am nearly half way through the month and I have spent a grand total of £2.62! My first two purchases came in the form of Girlz Only Dry Shampoo, which I picked up in Tesco. I am a card carrying fan of Batiste dry shampoo but the Girlz Only come in at £1.50 cheaper and every penny counts, I also picked up some Alberto Balsam hair spray. As I had a £2.50 Club Card voucher I only had to put 63p towards theses purchases! Bargain.

My third purchase is in the form of St Ives Apricot Scrub, which I bought from Home Bargains for £1.99, I absolutely love Lush's Angels on Bare Skin but I have nearly used up my last tub and at £5.95  it is over half of m monthly budget. However, I am pretty optimistic about the St Ives scrub as I have read some great things about it.

This means I'm almost half way through the month and I still have a whopping £7.38 left to spend, not bad eh?! Follow me on:
