10 Among MQM Worker Killed in Karachi Violence

KarachiAt least 10 people including a worker of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) were killed in the different incidents of violence in Karachi on Tuesday.

42-year-old Tauqeer Hussain, the worker of MQM unit 121-B, was gunned down by armed motorcyclists in Orangi Gulshan-e-Bahar.

The managing director of Pakistan Machine Toll Factory Arshad Pervez was shot dead by unidentified men in Bhains Colony. The general manager of the factory Kashif Qazalbash sustained serious injuries.

Unknown armed motorcyclists opened fire on a vehicle near Korangi Awami Colony, killing 65-year-old Ijaz Saddiqi.

An armed man gunned down a person in a mobile shop in Quaidabad and later pervaded into a cloth market in Sharafi Goth, where he sprayed bullets to kill three more people, identified as 35-year-old Saeed Khan, 38-year-old Shahjahan, and 55-year-old Mohammad Siddque.

Four persons Zeeshan, Jawad Ali, Mohammed Taufeeq and Mohammad Ali were injured as a result of firing.

 35-year-old Ghulam Hussain was killed by unidentified men in a Milk Shop in Sakhia Goth.

Tension prevailed in the different areas of metropolis following the killings.
